During the Eid Mubarak "known as Hari Raya in Malaysia", i went over to 0man for an overnight camping. 4 malaysian, 1 indonesian & a british all packed in a land rover discovery with all those camping equipment.
It took us like 6 hours to reach the rocky mountain top of 0man, usually it would only take 4 hours but due to the traffic at the border check point because of the holiday rush. One of the msian & indo are "G couple", Chad is quite irritated by the situation and he decied to sit at the back site while the G couple & me sit in the mid sit. The back site of the jeep is quite conjested as it was not really meant for adult and it is full of stuff.
It only took us less than 30min to set up 3x 2second camp, 6 air beds, 6 sleeping bag, 6 pillows, a table, 6 chairs and unload all foods and other equipments. We even bring along portable shower pump, electrical ice box, fire woods, cooking facilities, projector cum laptop and screen. We got lotta foods, i mean a lot we got beacon, bread, chicken, foie gras, soft drinksssss and Sparkling wine.
We cook some chicken and hot dog for dinner and camp fire. I learn 2 things about beverage that night:
- Foie Gras is made of is the fattened liver of a duck or goose that has been overfed and it cost about rm500 per 300grammes.
- Sprakling Wine is same as Champagne except that it is not produce in a TOWN of France named Champagne.
looking at the clear sky at night is quite a scenery. i think this is the only part of the world that you can see the star.
