Nepal 3.3 -POKHARA EVENING-

We finished trekking around 2pm and went to David Falls or Patale Chhango In Nepali. According to Wikipedia, It is believed that this deadly waterfall took the life of a tourist named David, who fell down into the canel and was never found, and hence the name David waterfall, named in his memory by the people of Pokhara. This place has many nick names like Davy's Fall, David's Fall or Davis's Fall, all mean the same thing `The Davis Water Fall'.
Devi's fall is an attractive waterfall which water coming from Phewa Lake vanishes into the earth at the Devi's Fall.

Then we go to see the Tibetan Refugee Camp, as a Chinese I can felt that we are not really welcomed there. They earn a decent living by making carpet from coloured sheep fur.

Read some really gruesome articles about Chinese Gomen treatment of them there so I decided to donate some cash for them. Ah cha or kwai lol might not be able to differentiate Japanese, Korean and Chinese, but a Tibetan sure do!

It’s a pity that Nepal with rich water resources doesn’t have the financial power to build a bigger damp. With such some damp, it’s impossible for it to provide consistent power to 20+millions citizen.

The rest of the night is free time, the girls decided to take some rest, me and Eric rent two bicycles for 30rupee each. The bicycles were not of best condition, Eric’s bike ring2 fall off barely 20m from the rental place. Riding with a ring2 is dangerous as moving in this super tight nepali roads, required

Good horn
Good brake
And good luck
Most of the time, Good Luck is the one that in use.

sitting inside the Van all this time, we were only expose to Nepal road first hand through this bikes. The were more potholes than junction, more stones than than tree, Nepali drivers are Awesomeeeee… F1 shall look for their driver here!

Outdoor ping pong, that's new…
Then two of us went to drink at the pool side, the menu shows 150rupee for local beer, 320rupee for foreign beer. For safety reason I would have opt for foreign beer but my curiosity took over as we ordered two can of local beers. It turned out to be CARLSBERGS! I have to reconfirm with the waiter if this is a local beer and it was Carlsberg manufactured in Nepal!

I felt so sabah as night come because there were power cut for 2hours! Wakakaka… some romantic! Pink & Jess went for Nepali Massage as they felt aches due to their speedo trekking. That's why I said, slow and easy win the day! The massage parlour was full of MEN! Wakakaka, I wasn’t sure who gonna massage them but I am pretty sure that there are only 3men there.

Women massagers were available but the makeshift room in the massage parlour were no better than rumah setinggan as a kick will surely tear it down. so Pink & Jess brought the two women massagers back to hotel for business, lol!

We bargain very hard at the beginning, even for 10rupee but after some thought what is 10rupee? 10rupee is 0.50dirham, in Dubai the supermarket cashier won’t even return the 0.50dirham for you.

Then eric suggested we go clubbing in Nepal, that's sounds great to me, so we go peek at those DANCE BAR (as the are known)! Suprise to find there were loud Indian Music, Dance Pole, One Sexy Lady and One Singlet Man dancing hysterically on stage, with around 10men watching. We didn’t proceed because there were no lady spectators so it won’t be appropriate to bring Lian in.
We end our night at Mooncafe again.
